What this committee does

To make the Government responsible and accountable to the Federal Parliament, and to monitor and evaluate its work and give directions or advice, rule 173 of the House of Representatives Rules places the following ministries and commissions under this committee: the Ministry of Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security; the National Women Commission; the National Dalit Commission; the National Inclusion Commission; the Indigenous Nationalities Commission; the Madhesi Commission; the Tharu Commission; the Muslim Commission; social security; matters concerning the rights and interests of inclusion and marginalised groups and communities; and related subjects and bodies.सरकारलाई संघीय संसद् प्रति उत्तरदायी र जवाफदेही बनाउनका लागि सरकारबाट भए गरेका काम कारवाहीको अनुगमन र मूल्यांकन गरी आवश्यक निर्देशन वा राय सल्लाह दिन प्रतिनिधि सभा नियमावलीको नियम १७३ अनुसार यस समितिको कार्यक्षेत्र अन्तर्गत देहाय बमोजिमका मन्त्रालय तथा आयोगहरु पर्दछन्: महिला, बालबालिका, लैङ्गिक तथा यौनिक अल्पसङ्ख्यक र सामाजिक सुरक्षा मन्त्रालय,राष्ट्रिय महिला आयोग,राष्ट्रिय दलित आयोग,राष्ट्रिय समावेशी आयोग,आदिवासी जनजाति आयोग,मधेशी आयोग,थारु आयोग,मुस्लिम आयोग,सामाजिक सुरक्षा,समावेशीता तथा सीमान्तकृत वर्ग समुदायको हक हित सम्बन्धी विषय र सम्बद्ध विषय तथा निकाय ।
