Finance Committee
What this committee does
House of Representatives Rules, 2083 allow the House to form thematic and special committees to support its regular work. To make the Government of Nepal responsible and accountable to the House, and to monitor and evaluate the Government's work and give directions or advice, there are ten thematic committees under rule 173, of which the Finance Committee is one. Under the Rules its jurisdiction is: 1. Ministry of Finance; 2. National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission; 3. Investment Board; 4. National Planning Commission; 5. related subjects and bodies.प्रतिनिधि सभाको नियमित कार्यमा सहयोग पुर्याउन सभा अन्तर्गत विषयगत समिति र विशेष समिति गठन गर्न सकिने प्रतिनिधि सभा नियमावली, २०८३ मा व्यवस्था गरिएको छ। नेपाल सरकारलाई प्रतिनिधि सभाप्रति उत्तरदायी र जवाफदेही बनाउन, सरकारबाट भए गरेका काम कारबाहीको अनुगमन र मूल्याङ्कन गरी आवश्यक निर्देशन वा राय सल्लाह दिन नियम १७३ बमोजिम दशवटा विषयगत समिति रहेका छन् जस मध्ये अर्थ समिति एक महत्त्वपूर्ण समिति हो। नियमावलीको व्यवस्था बमोजिम यस समितिको कार्यक्षेत्र देहायबमोजिम रहेको छ: १. अर्थ मन्त्रालय, २. राष्ट्रिय प्राकृतिक स्रोत तथा वित्त आयोग, ३. लगानी वोर्ड, ४. राष्ट्रिय योजना आयोग, ५. सम्बद्ध विषय तथा निकाय ।
