What this committee does
Under Article 292(1) of the Constitution of Nepal and the Joint Sitting and Joint Committee (Conduct of Business) Rules of the Federal Parliament, 2080, parliamentary hearings are held for: the Chief Justice appointed on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council; Justices of the Supreme Court; members of the Judicial Council; heads or office-bearers of constitutional bodies; and persons to be appointed as ambassadors.नेपालको संविधानको धारा २९२ को उपधारा (१) को व्यवस्था अनुसार संघीय संसदको संयुक्त बैठक र संयुक्त समिति (कार्य सञ्चालन) नियमावली, २०८० बमोजिम देहायका पदाधिकारीको संसदीय सुनुवाइ गरिने : - संवैधानिक परिषदको सिफारिसमा नियुक्त हुने प्रधान न्यायाधीश, - सर्वोच्च अदालतका न्यायाधीश, - न्याय परिषदका सदस्य, - संवैधानिक निकायको प्रमुख वा पदाधिकारी र - राजदूतको पदमा नियुक्ति हुने व्यक्ति ।
