What did the Auditor General find?

  • The Auditor General noted that Nepal's cadastral maps are not yet uniform and that re-survey work has made limited progress. After the Act, the Survey Department completed a one-time survey by 2055; of the then 75 districts, 37 were surveyed using national control points and 38 only on 'free-sheet' maps.
