- The President appointed him Chairperson of the National Dalit Commission on the Constitutional Council's recommendation, and he was sworn in on 3 February 2021 (21 Magh 2077 BS). - 2026-10-07 The commission's sixth annual report (FY 2082/83 BS) was presented to the President in his presence under Article 294.
