What does it do?
- The regulation sets up a fund called the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. It holds money received from the Government of Nepal and money from any other source. The fund is run as a revolving fund.यो नियमावलीले प्रधानमन्त्री सहायता कोष नामको एउटा कोष स्थापना गरेको छ। कोषमा नेपाल सरकारबाट प्राप्त रकम र अन्य कुनै स्रोतबाट प्राप्त रकम रहन्छ। कोषलाई आवर्ती कोष (रिभल्भिङ फण्ड) का रूपमा सञ्चालन गरिन्छ। Nepal Law Commission Rule 3(1)-(3), PDF pp. 1-2
- The fund may be spent on: medical treatment for a nationally renowned person who is seriously ill and cannot afford care; help for a person in severe financial hardship who falls ill, to get to and from hospital; rescue of disaster or accident victims and help to the relatives of the dead for funeral and last-rites costs; support for special programmes of social organisations set up under law for economic and social uplift; and support for people in weak financial condition.कोषको रकम गम्भीर बिरामी भई उपचार गराउन नसक्ने राष्ट्रिय जीवनका ख्यातिप्राप्त व्यक्तिको उपचारमा सहयोग गर्न, आर्थिक अवस्था दयनीय भएका व्यक्ति बिरामी पर्दा अस्पताल ल्याउन र लैजान सहयोग गर्न, दैवी प्रकोप वा दुर्घटनामा परेकाको उद्धार गर्न र मृतकका आफन्तलाई सद्गत वा काजकिरिया खर्च वापत सहयोग गर्न, आर्थिक तथा सामाजिक उत्थानका लागि कानूनबमोजिम स्थापित सामाजिक संघसंस्थालाई विशेष कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गर्न सहयोग गर्न र कमजोर आर्थिक अवस्था भएकालाई सहयोग गर्न खर्च गरिन्छ। Nepal Law Commission Rule 4(1)(क)-(ङ), PDF p. 2

- Money for the fund is deposited in an account at Nepal Rastra Bank. The account is operated by the joint signatures of the head of administration and the accounts officer of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
