What does it do?
- The Act divides policing between the federal Nepal Police and each province's own Province Police. - Each province has a Province Police organisation under its ministry, formed and run under provincial law, inclusive in character; initially it is staffed by adjusting or deputing Nepal Police personnel. The federal Government deputes a Deputy Inspector General of Nepal Police as Province Police chief. - Each force is mobilised and supervised by its own government, and a province may request another province's police. Gaps, loopholes and improvement ideas
