What does it do?
- This short Act was passed by the House of Representatives in 2063 (2006), in the first year after its Proclamation of 2063. Its purpose was to restore the earlier wording of several Acts that had been amended by ordinances issued under Article 72 of the 1990 Constitution and that had lapsed or been repealed, in the changed context.यो छोटो ऐन प्रतिनिधि सभाको घोषणा, २०६३ जारी भएको पहिलो वर्षमा प्रतिनिधि सभाले २०६३ सालमा बनाएको हो। नेपाल अधिराज्यको संविधान, २०४७ को धारा ७२ अनुसार जारी भई निष्क्रिय वा खारेज भएका अध्यादेशले केही ऐनमा गरेका संशोधनलाई हटाई तिनको साबिकको व्यवस्था पुनः कायम गर्नु, तत्कालीन परिवर्तित सन्दर्भमा, यसको उद्देश्य थियो। Nepal Law Commission, Government of Nepal Preamble and Section 1, p. 1
- Under Section 2, the provisions that existed before the 2062 ordinances are treated as automatically revived, from the date each ordinance lapsed or was repealed, in: the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act 2029; the Local Bodies (Election Procedure) Act 2048 and the Electoral Rolls Act 2052; the Local Administration Act 2028; the Radio Act 2014, National News Agency Act 2019, Press and Publication Act 2048, Press Council Act 2048, National Broadcasting Act 2049 and Defamation Act 2016; the Social Welfare Act 2049; and the Labour Act 2048.दफा २ अनुसार २०६२ सालका अध्यादेशले संशोधन गर्नुअघि कायम रहेका व्यवस्था ती अध्यादेश निष्क्रिय वा खारेज भएको मितिदेखि स्वतः जागेको मानिन्छ। यसमा राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज तथा वन्यजन्तु संरक्षण ऐन, २०२९; स्थानीय निकाय (निर्वाचन कार्यविधि) ऐन, २०४८ र मतदाता नामावली सम्बन्धी ऐन, २०५२; स्थानीय प्रशासन ऐन, २०२८; रेडियो ऐन, २०१४, राष्ट्रिय समाचार समिति ऐन, २०१९, छापाखाना तथा प्रकाशन सम्बन्धी ऐन, २०४८, प्रेस काउन्सिल ऐन, २०४८, राष्ट्रिय प्रसारण ऐन, २०४९ र गाली र बेइज्जती ऐन, २०१६; समाज कल्याण ऐन, २०४९; र श्रम ऐन, २०४८ पर्छन्। Nepal Law Commission, Government of Nepal Section 2(a)–(f), pp. 1–2
- The ordinances affected were the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation (Fifth Amendment) Ordinance 2062, the ordinance amending some election-related Acts 2062, the Local Administration (Fifth Amendment) Ordinance 2062, the ordinance amending some communication-related Acts 2062, the Social Welfare (First Amendment) Ordinance 2062 and the Labour (Second Amendment) Ordinance 2062.
