The short version
Policy Nepal does not ask for your name, email or any other personal information. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking cookies or social-media trackers.
What is stored in your browser
Only your language choice (English or नेपाली) is saved in your own browser, so the site opens in the same language next time. You can clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Answers in “Explore your priorities” and choices in the demonstration poll stay only in the open page. They are not saved, not sent to us and disappear when you close or reload the page.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the service. We have not enabled visitor access logs, and we do not use this information to identify or profile visitors.
Links to official and other sources open other websites, which have their own privacy practices.
Before we collect anything
Comments, contributions, correction requests and voluntary polls are not open yet. Before any of them opens, we will publish an updated notice explaining exactly what is collected, why, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted, and we will ask for your consent. Political opinions will never be used for profiling, targeting or advertising.
